Our Story

Let’s hear the story of our company’s founding from our founder:

As you may know, since 1958, we have been producing elevators, hydraulic stacking and lifting machines, and related systems, and we are experts in this field.

One mild spring evening in 2004, I was flipping through TV channels and came across a program about people with disabilities. The main theme of the program was something like “Diving is Freedom.” Being an amateur diver myself, it immediately caught my attention. The program was filmed at a facility in Bodrum, Turkey. People with disabilities were being assisted into the water, wearing diving suits and air tanks. Each participant was accompanied by a professional instructor, ensuring the dive went smoothly.

For those who know Bodrum, it has very few beaches and is mostly rocky. The facility where the diving took place was built on rocks. To facilitate access to the water, a carpet was laid down. Some participants were slid into the water on this carpet, while others were lifted in under their arms—a very primitive method.

Seeing the determination and desire of these individuals, yet observing the pain they experienced while entering the water, moved me to tears. Such a noble cause did not deserve this scene. The organizers of this activity clearly lacked proper tools; otherwise, why not use technology for such a meaningful purpose? Wiping my tears, I turned off the TV and began to think: Why wasn’t this technology available in Turkey? How could we safely and easily help people with disabilities enter the sea and pools? How was this done elsewhere in the world? That evening, I decided to create a machine that would allow people with disabilities to enter the water easily. This became my new mission.

The next day, I went to the office and told my colleagues about starting a company to build such a machine. We immediately began brainstorming. Our vision was clear: we would give freedom to people with disabilities. We devoted all our energy and love to this mission. The following day, we took action to establish our new company.

To develop a pool lift, we first researched existing models worldwide and then designed a product with higher capacity, easier installation, more practicality, better hygiene, and cost efficiency. Importantly, we succeeded in operating it with water. After completing our R&D, we launched our first product, the Aqualift Pool Lift, in 2006.

The product received very positive reviews and congratulations. This became our first freedom-giving product for people with disabilities. By then, we were already a family. Our family members with disabilities asked for freedom, and we delivered; we kept creating, never stopping. One project ended and another began, sometimes before the first was completed. We could not stop because our path was driven by love, faith, and passion. Our mission and vision were to give freedom to the disabled members of our family. Only then did we feel true happiness.

After the Aqualift pool lift, our next projects focused on wheelchairs, followed by ramps. Later, we developed all necessary systems to help people with disabilities enter, exit, and operate vehicles. By the end of 2010, our company had become an expert in accessible vehicle systems and equipment, transfer and transportation systems, robotic systems, and washing systems. We had grown into a well-known and trusted brand in the elevator and accessibility industry.

Many people ask me, “Do you have a family member with a disability, is that why you started this work?” I smile, because we are already a family. Every day, I pray to God for health and protection for those in need. This may be destiny, but I want everyone to know: we are here whenever needed. We produce for freedom, we provide for freedom, and we work for freedom—and we will continue to do so.

This is how our story began, and it continues.

With love,
