Why Stair Lift Prices Are in Euros

Many Turkish customers ask us “why do you sell stair lifts in foreign currency?” We would like to explain the issue here.

First of all, seated stair lifts are not manufactured in Turkey and are imported from abroad, therefore our costs are calculated in foreign currency and euro. As a result of the continuous depreciation of the Turkish lira against the euro, if we fix the exchange rate and sell in TL, we lose money. Because the equivalent of 1000 euros is different today and tomorrow. In this case, the exchange rate sometimes drops and our customer says that you are losing money now; however, since we collect euros and pay in euros, we do not have any loss.

Sometimes our customers say; our savings are in the bank in TL and we will pay you in TL upon delivery of the product. However, we recommend our customers to convert their TL savings into foreign currency as much as they will pay in euros. If they pay us in TL, we have to get the current foreign currency equivalent, we work with low profit margins and exchange rate differences can cause us serious damage. Why are Stair Lift Prices in Euros?

As everyone knows, in Turkey, a lot of values are calculated in dollars and euros. Petroleum products, diesel, gasoline, plastic, gas, iron and steel etc. Therefore, these conditions are not created by us but by the general conditions in Turkey. For this reason, we are forced to sell Stair Lift Prices in Euro currency.

We believe that our valued customers will understand this issue and wish better/beautiful days to rise in Turkey.

Best Regards
