Why Dual Motor Stair Lift?
Some of our competitors say that our double drive motor system is unnecessary, and they disparage our products and confuse our customers.
We are making this statement to prove that our products are the stair lifts with the best motor systems in the world.
We do not disparage any company, the product it sells, or the brands it represents. They definitely represent and sell good brands. Here, we are only stating our superiority over other brands and our advantages and disadvantages.
First of all, we would like to state that; Handicare first thinks about the safety of the user in the elevator systems it produces. And with this thought, they have produced a system with almost zero risk of failure. Our thought and work is to ensure that the user never remains on the step halfway and to minimize the risk of failure.
Our Differences - Advantages
Our Handicare stair chair lift is the only brand with a double drive motor. All stair lift brands in the world, except Handicare, have a single drive motor system. The others provide the carrying capacity with this single motor. In other words, if their carrying capacity is 125 kg, they carry this weight with their single motor. The maximum power of their single motors is 350 Watts and there is 1. Handicare has 2 drive motors (main motor system) and each has a maximum power of 350 Watts and a total of 700 Watts. This proves that it is twice as powerful as its closest competitor.
Now, our answers to the statements that some of our competitors mislead and deceive our customers with false information: (Q: Statements – A: Our Answers)
First of all, is a thinner pipe easier to bend or a thicker pipe? And is the number 1 bigger or the number 2? Please keep the answers in mind.
Q 1. A single motor is enough, there is no need for a double motor.
C1. Yes, a single motor may be enough, but why should we be content with that when there is something better? For example; why would we prefer a 3000 motor car for the same price as a 1500 motor car; and a system that does not burn more fuel like a big motor. Think about it this way, a 1500 engine car can easily go uphill without going downhill, whereas a 3000 engine car can easily go uphill without going downhill; our system can also go uphill without ever going downhill and without difficulty. This system of ours is the best system for multi-level stairs, without a doubt.
S2. Double engine means double failure.
C2. Each of our engines work with 50% efficiency and complete 100%. Thus, they do not get tired, heat up, wear out, or wear out faster than single engine systems and have a lifespan of at least 2 times longer than others. In this case, does double engine mean more failure or single engine systems?
S3. Handicare is double engine but one of them is a spare engine, they provide transportation with a single engine all the time like everyone else.
C3. No, this is a complete lie. Handicare double engine system always works synchronously. In other words, it is not like a spare engine system, both of them always work synchronously. Since they work with 50% efficiency under normal conditions, they have the opportunity to increase their power when necessary. This is not possible in single-motor systems.
S4. They carry the same capacity whether they are single-motor systems or dual-motor systems.
C4. True, but they carry the same capacity with a single-motor system, while we achieve this by working at half power with 2 motors. Therefore, we do not get tired, wear out, or wear out..!
S5. The single-motor system is tested above its capacity and we have sufficient power.
C5. Our dual-motor system is tested much more above its capacity. Our dual-motor system with a carrying capacity of 125 kg has a carrying capacity of 700 kg according to the test results. However, considering the rail and connection parts and the mounting location, our Freecurve models provide a carrying capacity starting from 250 kg in straight travel and up to 125 kg depending on the angle. In other words, they have a much higher safety tolerance than others. In addition, our dual-motor units are tested at the factory with “175 kg”.
S6. Since they have a dual-motor system, their rails are thicker than ours.
C6. True, we use a stronger rail system because we are stronger. Is a thinner pipe or a thicker pipe more likely to bend quickly? Our rail thickness is 76 mm. This means that it is 5 mm thicker than some brands and 20 mm thicker than others. In other words, is half a cm or 2 cm too important compared to our other features? The customer should compare this.
Q7. Handicare rails take up more space on the stairs.
C7. Our rails go a maximum of 17 to 21 cm from the railing or wall (the outermost point of the rail). No one steps closer than 25 cm to the railing on the step. We also use these dead spaces that are not stepped on. Therefore, we definitely do not produce rails with a width that will affect those using the stairs. A thinner pipe takes up less space (let's assume it is at most 3 cm, how much does this save you) but it can bend more quickly.
Q8. So is Handicare that much?
